RETORI’s Paris presentation with ROOMS STUDIO as a layered exploration of identity
Retori Paris presentation
During Haute Couture Week, we curated the launch of Retori’s Chapter Two collection in collaboration with Rooms Studio through an immersive installation. The designer duo reflected on the theme of identity by delving into their Georgian heritage, architectural influences, and the symbolic role of materials in shaping each creation.
Spatial narrative
Unveiled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the collection was presented at 18 Rue Visconti, once the residence and studio of French arts patron Madeleine Castaing. For the occasion, we paid homage to her iconic spirit and intuitive approach to décor, crafting a setting that bridged heritage and contemporary design.

A cultural crossroad
Alongside Rooms Studio’s creations, the space featured artworks by Miko Veldkamp, who inspired the collection, adding another layer to the exploration of identity through his expressive, dreamlike brushstrokes.

Layers of communication
The entire experience was captured through the lens of photographer Ana Roque. Complementary video content extended the narrative beyond the physical installation, enabling a wider audience to engage with the project after the event through digital media.
